Patients are given a thorough medical evaluation - including
a blood test, a CT scan, and a neurological exam - undergo neuropsychological evaluation
and review their medical history.
Upon completion, the results of the testing are provided to the patient
and family, and a treatment plan is discussed. In most cases,
the patient returns to the Memory Clinic to ensure that the treatment plan
is helping.
